about

Yashiro Nene was, by all means, your everyday ordinary girl. An ordinary girl who had a crush on an older boy and wanted to impress him. Knowing that he liked girls with feminine traits, she did everything she could to make herself appealing to him. She learned how to cook, sew, and even got into gardening. She did everything she could have done, building herself up for three long years, and finally confessed her feelings to her senpai...

Only to be soundly rejected. But if that wasn't enough, her senpai continued to state his reasoning. That not only did he not even know her, but that she wasn't even his type due to her "fat radish legs".

She was, understandably, crushed. Her first love and rejection was about as brutal as you can get, and against all odds... the sheer negativity that formed in her heart was enough to begin forming into an actual Nightmare. With her at the center, her figment was in extreme danger... but fortunately for her, she was saved just in time by a knife-wielding Dreamer who she would later identify as Dreamer Hanako.

Unfortunately, due to a combination of Nene's own imagination and the vagueness of her memories in the Dreamsphere at the time, she mistakingly remembered Dreamer Hanako to be tall, handsome, and incredibly chivalrous. Needless to say, Nene fell head over heels in an instant... though at the very least, this did help her get over her prior rejection very quickly.

With her sights now set on a completely new boy, her focus then shifted entirely towards becoming a Dreamer, and she started trying just about every method she could find in regards to becoming one. Guides on how to have lucid dreams, a strict sleep schedule, and so on and so forth. Whether any of this actually helped is... debatable, but in the end, she got what she wanted.

She became Dreamer Koi and immediately set out to transfer over to Yumemigaoka in hopes of finally reuniting with her dreamly prince...

Aquatic Transformation E Nene can, at will, transform between her Dreamer form and an aquatic form... however the strength of the form is proportionate to the rank of the ability, and at this rank, the only form available to her is a small fish. She won't suffocate from drying out, she can fit into small spaces, and she's surprisingly mobile while in water... but otherwise doesn't gain anything else, becoming useless in combat, only able to move by flopping around, and contracting just about every weakness (aside from suffocation) that you can imagine from being a fish the size of a baseball—maybe even slightly smaller—out of water. With higher ranks, she may be able to transform into more useful forms with actual powers of their own.
Mokke Familiars E While in the Dreamsphere, Nene automatically summons small pink creatures known as Mokke in her vicinity (with the occasional black Mokke appearing, but there isn't a notable difference between it and other Mokke's aside from their appearance). The Mokke are capable of speech, can accomplish various tasks such as delivering objects, collecting objects, various other miscellaneous skills, and seem to be fond of their summoner: Nene. That said, Nene can't willingly summon any, nor can she control where they appear, so at times it seems like they just pop in out of nowhere, with Nene never actually being sure how many of them are around at any given time. On top of this, while they will usually do as Nene asks... Nene can't actually control any of them. They tend to act out on their own, which is usually fine due to their (mostly) harmless nature, but can still cause problems when they refuse to listen to Nene. They claim that they are easily bribed with candy, but how one can even bring candy into the Dreamsphere is a mystery. When questioned, they simply reply with "dunno" and "figure it out".

Their most practical application, however, is healing. When a Mokke is attached to someone, they will begin to slowly heal and recover their stamina. The effectiveness of the healing increases the more Mokkes are attached to any given person, and they're all very soft and fuzzy... though if the Mokkes don't like someone for any given reason, they can choose not to heal them, and that person then runs the risk of the Mokkes attempting to suffocate them in warm-fuzzies. At higher ranks, the Mokkes healing ability will increase, and more of them will appear at a time.

At E Rank, the maximum number of Mokke that are available is four. They heal .5 durability to a single target.
Sealing Barrier E Nene conjures a glowing barrier—or rather, a repelling force—around herself with a single, large enough that it can encapsulate herself and one other person if they remain immediately next to her. (It's possible to fit two others in, but that would require both to really squeeze in on either side of Nene, and they'd have to be around the same size as her).

The barrier repels anything that Nene wants to get away from, while allowing in anything she deems safe and doesn't mind having nearby. This operates based on her subconscious, however, so while the criteria can change based on the situation and isn't necessarily detrimental as it operates on Nene's subconscious instincts and feelings, it does mean that Nene isn't exactly in full control of it.

Additionally, it also comes with an electrifying shock to anything that comes in direct contact with it, but at Rank E it isn't enough to deal actual damage. It's more like touching someone who just stored up a bunch of static electricity and touched you with it. It stings enough that one might immediately recoil if it catches them by surprise, but that's all.

Nene can conjure the barrier willingly with some effort, but she struggles to maintain it in normal circumstances. While in immediate danger or in a stressful environment, however, it becomes more powerful and easier to use. It serves as an effective panic button that will repel most threats and keep her safe. That said, it's not perfect. An assailant can push past if they're strong and/or stubborn enough, and it's weak to concentrated attacks on a single point.
